Drawing on his Choctaw Indian heritage and unique artistic talents, Andy brings primitive and Indian-style handcrafts to life with exacting detail. He devotes countless hours to researching this distinctive and almost forgotten art form. He is passionate about using traditional hand tools and raw materials in keeping with American Indian history. He even cuts his own wood from family property in Pocahontas, Mississippi. After slowing it to season, Andy skillfully crafts decorative and functional bows and arrows, spears, tomahawks and knives. His work includes impressive replications, as well as original designs. Using bone, horn shell and glass beads, Andy also creates unique breastplates, loop necklaces, chokers, bracelets and earrings. Andy is popular quest demonstrator at many southeastern arts and crafts festivals.
